Pondside air traffic control has arrived.
One second the pond is completely still, and the next there's a dragonfly zipping over the water at approximately 400 miles per hour, stopping midair, changing directions and disappearing before you can even figure out where it went.
They're one of my favorite little signs that a pond is absolutely buzzing with life.
